This project is to replace and upgrade the existing tunnel ventilation system of Kai Tak Tunnel. The Works includes the replacement of 31 tunnel fans, a new tunnel ventilation control system, complete with power and signal wiring, and other associated accessories at Kai Tak Tunnel.
The project includes redesign the tunnel ventilation system to upgrade the ventilation fans to satisfy the latest specification of tunnel safety on fire and air quality by adopting calculation and CFD simulation.
