| Description | This is a project to re-provision the Lam Tei Market. It is a fully serviced and comprehensive market supplying fresh and preserved vegetables, fresh fish/meat/poutry, cooked food stalls and hawker bazaar. The modernisation and expansion of the existing market also included the addition of public toliets, refuse collection station and sewage treatment plant for the Lam Tei Market. The project was successfully completed in 2011.
The project was implemented in phases so that Lam Tei Market was a whole could continue with its services to the local community. This was a challenge. |
